Run a scenario once, on a loop or on a schedule

The three ways KONTROL can run a check, and which plan each one needs.

A scenario is a list of steps KONTROL performs on a website. You can build it by recording what you do or by adding steps by hand. Then you choose how it runs.

Once #

Runs the scenario a single time. Run Now, Test and Debug work on anything, on any plan, which makes them the right place to start. If a step fails, Debug lets you work out why.

Loop #

Repeats the scenario. On the free plan you can have up to three Loops running at once, with at least five minutes between runs. Pro allows more Loops and shorter gaps, down to 15 seconds.

Schedule #

Runs the scenario at set times. Scheduled runs are part of Pro.

Getting told #

Results and metrics stay in the extension, and notifications tell you when something fails. You can also send alerts to your phone or to a webhook you set up. See how it works for the whole path from building to being told.
